In a perfect scenario it should be watered twice a day, once in the early morning and again just after lunch. But none of us live in a perfect world so unless you have an irrigation system and can set up timers the best tine to water new grass seed is in the morning soaking the first 2” of soil allowing the seed to germinate in softer ground. The worst time to water your new grass is late in the evening or at night, watering at that time doesn't allow any evaporation and the soil can become to damp for to long and actually cause the seed to rot.
For about three weeks or until the grass is approx. 1” tall. Once it has reached this establishment point the grass can be watered once or twice a week with a total of 1” of water.

Absolutely! Synthetic grass is recommended by several state governments to aid in water conservation, with an estimated 3 billion gallons of water conserved annually through artificial turf applications. Synthetic grass also eliminates the need for pesticides, fertilizers, and emissions from lawn care equipment. Built sustainably, ForeverLawn uses soybean products (a 100% renewable resource) and recycled plastics from Project Yellowstone in product construction.
